Sheena McFeely decided to write a children’s book- Shay and Ivy: Beyond the Kingdom- to show little girls like her own two girls that they can be anything they want, and still be princesses too. The book is about a Deaf family but depicts them in a natural way and yet, provides a powerful message: people are human first, no matter what.
